Backcountry Ride — Half Day
Build your own backcountry snowmobile adventure near Steamboat Springs.
About This Ride
Lock in for a day of epic pow turns. We'll start with a trip-planning session led by your guide, where we learn about your group's goals for the ride. Your guide will present a few local objectives, and together you'll agree on a plan for the day. After a safety briefing and trailhead check, the group heads out for a half day of untethered fun.
What's Included
- Sled & fuel for the half day
- Helmet, boots, and a snow bib or monosuit
- Guide for the entire ride
What to Bring
- Two pairs of gloves
- Goggles
- Snacks & water (we keep extras on hand if you forget)
- Beanie, sunglasses & sunscreen
- Balaclava or buff
- Wool socks, non-cotton base layer & fleece mid layer
- Valid driver's license
Timing & Meeting Location
We'll meet at RMSR Basecamp: 61750 Co Rd 129, Clark, CO 80428. Departure times are listed on our booking page — please arrive at least 30 minutes early. If you haven't completed the waiver online, allow extra time to do that before you head out.
