Intro to Snowmobiling
Learn basic snowmobile mechanics, riding, and recovery techniques.
About This Course
Been invited to go sled-skiing with friends but never ridden before? Learning the basics of riding a snowmobile is the difference between a good day and a great day in the backcountry. We cover emergency preparedness, basic sled upkeep, field repairs, trip-planning basics, group riding management, and riding technique. The first few hours of day one are dedicated to on-site discussion and trip planning; the rest of the course is guided in the field, giving riders direct feedback while they ride.
